This is the best homemade Pizza Dough ever!

It also freezes well so you can make a big batch and save some for later
This batch makes 8 small pizza-sized doughs



750gm Plain Flour

1 Tsp Fine Sea Salt

15gm Caster Sugar

2 x 7gm Instant Dried Yeast Sachets

450ml Lukewarm Water

50ml Milk

1/4 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil


Place flour, salt, and sugar into the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a dough hook.

In a small bowl dissolve yeast in lukewarm water, then add milk stirring to combine. Pour mixture into the bowl with flour and start to mix for 3 minutes or until a dough forms. Add oil and continue to mix for another 2 minutes or until oil is incorporated.


Turn dough out onto a lightly floured bench and knead until the dough is smooth and elastic. Transfer dough to a lightly greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap and set aside in a warm place for 30 minutes or until doubled in size.


Remove dough from bowl and punch it to knock out the air.

Divide dough into 8 pieces, then roll into balls and place on a large tray dusted with flour, cover with lightly greased plastic wrap and set aside to prove for 30 – 45 minutes or until doubled in size.

You can now either use your dough or wrap your portions thoroughly in plastic wrap and freeze until later.

NOTE: To defrost, thaw in fridge then bring to room temperature before use.

For a simple garlic bread, we used garlic butter, a few sliced artichokes and a cheesy mix of grated mozzarella, cheddar, and parmesan – YUM!!!
